Mission Statement
Kecoughtan High School will provide an enriching, stimulating, challenging, caring, and safe learning environment, which is conducive to the academic, physical, social and emotional development of all students.
Belief Statements
In order to achieve our Mission, we will:
- provide a safe, orderly environment to promote student learning;
- provide a strong staff development program that supports our school improvement goals;
- maintain academic rigor in all subject areas;
- increase parent involvement in order to enhance school, home and community relations;
- promote character and responsible citizenship that will lead to life long learning;
- provide opportunities that will support appreciation for cultural diversity;
- create technological opportunities that will prepare learners to function in an ever changing world; and
- provide multiple opportunities for student success.
